Christopher Burke
—writer/director/producer

Writer, director, producer, and creative director Christopher Burke has directed over 25 short documentaries, 2 feature films, over 30 T.V. commercials, as well as numerous industrial projects, and served as creative director on countless web sites, animated corporate movies, and other multimedia projects.  With over 15 professional years in the film and advertising industries, Chris has a solid background in filmmaking and advertising from the beginning:  U. of Utah Film School, 3 years at the Sundance Filmmakers Lab; freelanced as a writer; worked as a cameraman for the documentary film company Rebo in New York and the award-winning series L.A. On the Edge in Los Angeles; produced the feature documentary Fate of the Universe by Stephen Hawking;  freelanced as a creative director, freelanced as a line producer on national commercials for clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Disney Channel, 3 Com, March of Dimes, and Cheerios before starting his own commercial production company in 2000—Doglatin.  Chris has worked abroad in England, France, Italy, and Mexico.  In addition to his commercial work, last year Chris directed the feature family film Gravity Matters, as well as the music video A Soldier’s Prayer by multiple platinum artist Collin Raye.  Just recently Chris completed the 35MM short film Elixir and the Machine hitting film festivals in 2009.  Chris is happily married with two young daughters.
